Obituary for Dale Brant
Dale A. Brant, 75 years, of North Bend, NE passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his home.
Dale was born on February 27, 1947 to Scott and Meril (Goebel) Brant in Omaha, NE. He grew up in Pacific Junction, IA. He owned Dale’s 66’ gas station for several years. In 1985, he moved to Nebraska. On December 27, 1986, Dale married Rose Olguin in Fremont. The couple resided in North Bend since 1987. Dale drove a tractor trailer his whole life, traveling all over the United States. In his spare time, he loved to tinker on cars, and spend time with his family and dogs. In Dale’s later years, his close nephew Eric lived with and cared for him. Dale treated him like a son.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose; son, Bill Payeur; brother, Paul Brant; sisters, Lea Combs and Laura Frazier; and grandchildren, Damian Grote and Michael Nielsen.
He is survived by sons, Scott (Angel) Brant and Rick (Wendy) Payeur; daughter, Carrie Grote; grandchildren, Jacob (Mikayla) Payeur, Breanna (Corey Doorlag) Payeur, David (Samantha) Peters, Kris (Teasa) Peters, Makayla (Andy) Peters, and Dakota (Heather) Grote; great grandchildren, Kinley, Nevaeh, Sylus, Xander, Eretria, Dmitri, Addison, Lilth, Elijah, Bryson, Fenix, Emersyn, Amellia, and Emmett; nephew, Eric (Shelby) Buen and his children, Chase, Colton, Tony, Kyler, and Kingsley.
A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled at a later date.
Private burial will take place at Platteville Cemetery in Saunders County, Nebraska.
