Obituary for Donna Morris (Freeman)
Donna J. Morris age 91 of Omaha passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at CHI Lakeside in Omaha. She was born April 12, 1930 in Nickerson, NE to W. Glen and Sarah (Million) Freeman.
Donna grew up in Nickerson and lived there until 1952 when she came to Fremont. She married John Morris on December 18, 1954 in Fremont. After marriage they lived in Omaha until 1960 when they moved to Columbus, NE for 19 years. In 1979 they moved to Lincoln and stayed there until moving to Grand Island, NE in 1987. In 2000 they moved to Omaha where they are currently.
Donna is survived by her husband, John Morris of Omaha; sons, Michael (Karen) Morris of Crete, NE, Mark (Jan) Morris of Waterloo, NE, and Matthew (Ann) Morris of Lincoln; sister, Alice Schwinck of Fremont; Grandchildren Scott (Katie), David (Lindsey), Andy (Kelsey), Will (Liz), John (Kristine), James (Michelle), Tom (Kylea), Robert (Jadynn) and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 7 siblings; and 1 great-grandson.
Funeral will be 11 AM, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at St. James Episcopal Church in Fremont. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
