Obituary for Edwin "Ed" Schrader
Edwin C. Schrader, 62 years, of Fremont, Nebraska died Friday, March 11, 2022 at Methodist Fremont Health.
Edwin was born June 4, 1959 in Neligh, Nebraska to Clyde and Mary (Satler) Schrader. In his younger years, he lived in various locations while his father was in the military, including Hawaii, Germany, Japan and Washington State. He was a graduate of Fremont High School . Edwin lived at Niobrara, Nebraska until returning to Fremont. He was employed at Land O Lakes until retiring June 2019.
Edwin married Cheryl Mueller on April 27, 2006 in Fremont.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Chad (Zayda) Schrader of Fremont and Eric (Lindsey) Schrader of Lyons, Nebraska; daughters, Amanda (Randy) Stuenkel of Ames, Nebraska and Angie (Larry) Peoples of Fremont; brothers, Gary Schrader of Florida, Rex Schrader of Las Vegas, Nevada and Roy (Sherry) Dittman of West Point, Nebraska; sisters, Nancy Riggs of Fremont and Jane Schrader of Thornton, Colorado; 14 grandchildren, Ricky, Kayla, Katrina, Isabelle, Sophia, Hayleigh, Quinton, Aidan, Shaylyn, Braelyn, Christopher, Austin, Izzy and Colton; and 1 great grandchild, Annson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Funeral service will be 3 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service. Edwin was a huge Husker fan and the family requests attendees wear Husker attire.
