Obituary for Evan Cox
Evan K. Cox, 19 yrs of Fremont, NE, passed away at Children’s Hospital in Omaha due to a rare form of cancer.
Evan was born December 31, 2003, at Council Bluffs, IA, to Justin Cox and Danielle Villafuerte. He moved to Fremont and attended Fremont High School.
Evan was the ultimate video game player. He enjoyed playing games online with his friends. Evan enjoyed the 4th of July celebrations and swimming. He had a unique sense of humor and enjoyed telling “dad jokes”. He loved being with his friends and family. Even though he had his struggles with years of pain and discomfort from cancer, he was always concerned about how his family was doing and making sure they were doing ok.
Evan is survived by his mother, Danielle Villafuerte and stepfather, James House of Fremont; father, Justin Cox of Fremont; brothers, Ryan and Tyler Cox of Fremont; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Jo Lee; and step grandmother, Mary Smith – Ayala.
The celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
