Harland P. Leffler, 76 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his home.
Harland was born on May 5, 1946 to Guztave and Marie (Wolken) Leffler in West Point, NE. Harland served in the United States Army from December 29, 1965 to October 5, 1967 during Vietnam. On June 23, 1969, Harland married Gloria Ranslem. They later divorced. On May 30, 1995, Harland married Tammy Brdicko, the love of his life.
Harland was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point.
Harland worked as a carpenter his whole life. He worked for R. L. Fauss for many years and retired in 2020 from Dicon.
He enjoyed bowling, hunting, coaching youth sports and mentoring, antiquing, building crafts, road tripping and caring for his Chevelle’s. Harland especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don, Rich, and Marv; sisters, Darlene and Linda; sister-in-law, Sandy; and brother-in-law, John.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; sons, Bob (Jennifer) of Cedar Bluffs, NE, John (Rose), Paul, and Chris (Sasha) all of Fremont; brother, Jim (Priscilla) of Omaha; brother-in-law, Jim Hammond; sister-in-law, Delores Leffler; grandchildren, Jeremy, Sara, Michael, Hunter, Zachary, Kaitlynn, Jacob, Lucas, Keevin, Maison, Aspyn, and Lilly; and great grandchildren, Maddox, Spencer, Brody, Marcus, Macy, and Paige.
Memorial Service will be 1 P.M., Friday, April 14, 2023 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Chaplain Scott Jensen will officiate. The visitation will be Thursday, from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. also at Moser’s.
