Jace H. Knoell, age 9 of Fremont passed away, Friday, July 16, 2021 at his home surrounded by family, after battling neuroblastoma. He was born July 16, 2012 in Fremont to Jeremy and Jessica (Mlnarik) Knoell.

Jace would be in the 4th grade at Archbishop Bergan Elementary in Fremont. Jace loved fishing, hunting, playing outside and being with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Doreen Mlnarik; grandma, Diana Knoell; and great grandfather, Leslie Mlnarik, great grandparents, LaVern "Blackie" and Nancy Blackburn, Bill and Dorsal Knoell.

Jace is survived by his parents, Jeremy and Jess Knoell; sister, Emerson Knoell; brothers, Gage and Hudson Knoell; grandparents, Jerry and Nancy Knoell and Mark and Carolyn Leahy all of Fremont; great-grandparents, Ralph and Agnes Ruskamp of Wahoo; great-grandmother, Rose Marie Mlnarik of Fremont; aunts and uncles, Alicia and Jordan Zoucha, Brea and Tyler Paulsen, Dylan Smeal, Stacey and Chris Lichtenberg, Chris Knoell, Stacy & Jeff Rall, Chip & Heather Gossett, Thad Gossett, many cousins and extended family.

Funeral Mass will be 10 A.M., Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Rev. Fr. Walter Nolte will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M, and the family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. also at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Please feel free to wear your Team Jace shirts on either day.

Interment will be 2 P.M., Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.

In Lieu of Flowers a memorial will be established in Jace's name.
