Obituary for Jason Shelton
Jason R. Shelton, 36 years, of Fremont, Nebraska died November 21, 2022 at his house.
Jason was born July 2, 1986, in Fremont to Randy and Cheri (Lofquest) Shelton. He attended Fremont Public Schools. He worked at the former FEVER Railroad Dinner Train. Jason had a passion for volunteering for the Nickerson and Winslow Volunteer Fire Departments. He was proud to be a Shriner and Mason in the Omaha Temple. His dalmatian “Blaze” was one of his favorite companions.
Jason is survived by his mother, Cheri Stastny of Fremont and father, Randy (Nora) Shelton of Camdenton, Missouri; brothers, Jeff (Stacie) Shelton of Fremont and Joe (Brittany) Stastny of Omaha; sister, Missy Hamond of Fremont; special friend, Jennifer Wiese of Fremont; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and 3 uncles.
Celebration of Life Service will be from 12 PM until 4 PM, Saturday, December 10th, 2022, at the Nickerson Fire Station in Nickerson, NE.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Nickerson Volunteer Fire Dept.
