Obituary for Jerry Brown
Jerry L. Brown, 52 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Methodist Fremont Health.
Jerry was born May 12, 1970 to Harlan and Dalone (Young) Brown in Fremont. He grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High in 1988. Jerry attended college to learn about construction. He worked in construction and home improvements his entire life.
Jerry loved fishing the local lakes, woodworking, smoking BBQing meat, building bon fires, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jeanne Zautke.
He is survived by is fiancé, Karen Nelson; daughters, Megan and Emily Brown; brothers, Jeff and Jim Brown; aunt, Lorraine Schwanke; grandchildren, Brea, Braeden, Brantley, Adelie, and Ellie; life-long friend, Travis Renken; and his companion, Tinkerbell.
A memorial service will be 10:30 Friday, October 21, 2022 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Greg Rathke from Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Moser’s.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
