Obituary for Margaret "Maggie" Ford (Carlson)
Margaret L. “Maggie” Ford, 63 years, of North Bend, NE passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Hospice House in Omaha surrounded by her family.
Maggie was born January 19, 1958 to Arthur and Beulah (Brockmoller) Carlson in Oakland, NE. After graduation, on November 3, 1979, she married Lawrence Ford in Scribner, NE.
Maggie loved the outdoors and being with nature which included hunting, fishing, and camping. She taught Hunter Education for 30 years. Maggie and her husband loved to travel and ride motorcycles.
Maggie was a member of Waters Edge Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; daughter, Ella (Jay) Vance; son, Arthur (Jessi) Ford; parents, Arthur and Beulah Carlson; sisters, Rhonda Kaup and Brenda (Dave) Hrabanek; and 8 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be 5 P.M., Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend, NE. Pastor Craig Finnestead will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior the service at the funeral home. The use of masks and social distancing practices are recommended.
A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled during the summer.
