Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez-Barrera, 52 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE.

Maria was born November 23, 1968 to Victor and Elda Rodriguez in Campeche, Mexico. Maria and her family lived in Merida, Mexico until moving to the United States in 1999.

Maria was a woman of faith and had a great trust in God. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Maria always dressed elegantly and smelled beautifully. She enjoyed watching birds around her home and caring for her flowers which included her lovely roses. She also loved to cook, sing, and enjoyed listening to music. Maria will be greatly missed by her family.

Maria was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont.

Memorial Mass will be 10 A.M., Friday, July 9, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Father James de Anda will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. with a Rosary starting at 6:30 P.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
