Obituary for Richard Cashatt
Richard Lee Cashatt, 56, of Morse Bluff, NE, passed away, Monday, December 7, 2020, at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha.
Richard was born August 23, 1964, in Fremont, to Myron and Karolyn (Graham) Cashatt. Richard served in the U.S. Navy.
He started working for Valmont Industries at the age of 22. Richard lived west of North Bend since 1994 before moving to Morse Bluff in 2018.
Airboating off the Platte River was a passion for Richard. He was a member of the Nebraska Airboat Association.
Richard is survived by his sons, Jake of Fontanelle, NE and Jesse of North Bend, NE; brother, Dave (Chasta) Cashatt of Nebraska City, NE, and step brother, Robert Lucht of Fremont; sister, Karolyn Galindo of Fremont; 2 grandsons, Joseph A. Cashatt and Hugh Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Joseph Lee; step father, William Sargent and step mother, Neola Cashatt.
Visitation will be from 1:00PM until 4:00PM, Saturday December 12, 2020, at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend, NE.
