Samantha E. (Medinger) Newill, age 46 of Lincoln, NE passed away Saturday December 5, 2020 at her home. She was born April 11, 1974 in Orange City, Iowa to John E. Medinger, Sr and Elizabeth (Dufek).

Samantha was a 1992 graduate of Fremont Senior High School.

She is survived by her children, Sierra Medinger and Jordan Medinger; mom’s, Elizabeth Harold (fiancée) Carl Gentleman and Tina (Bernard) Korth; grandmother, Lucy Odvody; sister, Robin Medinger (Chad); brothers, Matthew Medinger (Tricia) and John Medinger, Jr. (Dani); step-sister, Molly Hunke (James); step-brother, Scott Korth; many aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and cousins that will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Medinger, Sr.; grandparents; and brother Luke Medinger.

Memorial Mass will be 10 AM, Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. A Celebration of Life Service and private burial will be held at a later date.
