Obituary for William "Bill" Brown

William W. “Bill” Brown, 62 years of Hooper, NE passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont, NE.

Bill was born on January 7, 1960 to Warren and Maxine (Fielder) Brown in Fremont. He lived in Nickerson, NE at a young age and moved to Fremont until his early 20’s. On June 23, 1979, Bill married Kimberly Young at the United Methodist Church in Nickerson. Since 2005, Bill lived in Nickerson, and finally resided in Hooper. Bill worked most of his life for the Monke Brothers and Fontanelle Hybrids until his retirement in 2019.

Bill was an avid and remarkable billiards player. He enjoyed shuffleboard, hunting, and fishing. He had a huge spot in his heart for animals, especially his Lindy girl. He was an airboating enthusiast, which was heaven on earth for him.

Bill was a member of the Fremont Aerie #200 Eagles Club and the NRA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vicki; and brother-in-law, Norman Decker.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Brown; sons, Mike (Heidi) Young of Bennington, NE, Joey (Rochelle) Brown of Fremont, and Eddie (Jennifer) Brown of Omaha, NE; daughter and four-legged little girl, Lindy; brother, Jim (Jean) Brown of Fremont; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
